My name is Scott Benham and I am 26 years old.  I am a God-loving Christian and have been married to my beautiful wife Kaelyn for 1 year and 3 months. We have a dog named Benson (11 months), and we live in North Bethesda, Maryland. 

After growing up in Warrington, PA (40 minutes Northeast of Philadelphia) and graduating from C.B. East, I attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA.  At JMU I studied Biology, with a concentration in Microbiology.  In my search for employment after college graduation I found myself drawn to the Washington D.C metro area because of friends and career opportunities.

I began working for a professional recruiting firm (where I met my wife) and I am still recruiting today.  My experience in recruiting has allowed me to gain an understanding for various engineering disciplines including: architectural, mechanical, electrical, aviation, hardware, software engineering and information technology.  I currently work for a software engineering consulting firm in the Washington DC area.

In my free time I enjoy learning more about God through prayer and reading the Bible, spending time with my wife and my dog, working out and training for endurance sports (mostly triathlon and cycling), and spending time with my friends. 

I have always had a passion for traveling and am excited to have the opportunity to share my experiences in New Zealand with everyone who is interested!
